Well, Granny finally admitted that she was sick Saturday morning. When she couldn't get up and ready for a music teacher workshop, it was official...."I'm Sick!"
(Granny speaking) I felt really tired Thursday, Friday I was cold all day, even tho' my classroom has been nice and chilly all week, I was especially chilled Friday, and my body was aching.....but I figured I was still OK.....until Saturday morning hit. I had a CRASHING headache, kept getting chilled, and didn't want to get out of bed.......it took all that for me to admit that I needed to stay home....and in bed :o)
I literally slept ALL day. I got up to eat some soup, but that was about it. I finally really woke up about 5:00pm, ate dinner with papa and watched a movie, then went back to bed!
I feel MUCH better this morning, but am staying close to home and resting to be sure I get all my energy back.
I tried to find a cutesy sick picture (if there is such a thing) to add to this entry but haven't figured out how to get pictures from clipart to the blog, or off the web to my blog yet.
That's a bummer! It's no fun to be sick, much less be sick on a weekend!! Glad you're feeling better. Hope you're back to 100% soon!
ReplyDeleteOn a technical note, if you save whatever pic you find online to your computer (right click, save as) then you can add it to your blog just like any other pic.
As for the pic at the top of your blog, first Newark house, I'd say about 1980?
